Daniel Lozakovich & Sir Stephen Hough

Presented by MRC

Experience two classical sensations, with your exclusive offer.

This May and June, Melbourne Recital Centre welcomes a violin phenom and a piano master for two unmissable classical experiences.

Rising star and violin phenom, Daniel Lozakovich brings his ‘perfect mastery’ to Bach's most celebrated violin works, including the legendary D minor Partita that critics call his defining achievement. At just 24, the Deutsche Grammophon artist has already conquered stages from Moscow to Chicago with interpretations that make familiar compositions sound reborn.

Then Sir Stephen Hough, the piano master, returns with his ‘transcendental technique’ to breathe revolutionary fire into Romantic masterpieces by Liszt and Chopin. Hough's approach to these once-controversial works reveals the emotional architecture beneath their technical demands, creating what the Sunday Times calls ‘an unforgettable and dynamic listening experience.’
